These shoes look lovely and they are quite comfortable. The only problem to me was that the back rim is hard, and it rubbed somewhat my ankle. This has improved in just a pair of days wearing them, so I guess breaking-in will eliminate the problem, but it's something I didn't expect from Rieker. Besides this detail, I definitely recommend them!

A loss of bone cartilage & bone spur left me with having to wear a metal plate to prevent movement in the toe joint. This also meant that most shoes don't accomodate a "prosthesis" -- let alone anything that looks normal. Add the bunions to the mix, and finding shoes is a real chore. This shoe came to the rescue -- the insole can be yanked to make room for a metal plate underneath & presto! And, the shoe is tan looks incredibly smart, though a bit casual unlike the black version which seems somewhat dressy. Looks fabulous with capris, long jeans, skirts, and even some dresses. And, people have actually commented on what a great looking shoe it is -- something that typically never happens to me. Love this style shoe!
Wears this shoe: Anywhere and everywhere that I can use a tan comfortable shoe.

Love this brand. After years of wearing orthopedicshoes, I found Reiker-Antistress. My last 4 pairs of shoes have been Reiker because others don't feel good.I ordered a size larger in this shoe, per instructions, as it said the toe area needed more space. These feel so good and they look great.
