I bought the shoe on my orthopedic surgeon's advice. It fits well, but is not quite as comfortable as I expected. However, I think it will feel fine with socks or hose. It also doesn't have quite the arch support I need. However, it is extremely light and soft and extremely high quality, so I will undoubtedly buy more Rieker brand shoes.
