The inside is all plush sheepskin and its open seams offer stylish detailing and expose the beautiful sheepskin. The earflaps can be tied up, or kept down for a more authentic aviator look. They also do a great job keeping your ears and neck warm. Comes in three colors.

This hat was purchased to keep my head warm in -40 when it is windy. Most knit hats don't stop the wind very well when it is that cold. The material is very good quality and it does block wind. A larger size may have worked better to come farther over the sides of my face, but I am not sure. Also, the ties are too far back on the flaps and cause the sides to bulge rather than lay flat. This allows the wind to get to the ears. Although the leather ties are simple and durable, they are not very easy to tie or undo with cold fingers. Velcro or some simple fastener like that might be more convenient. In the end I don't use it all that often because of those issues.I would say this hat has potential if a person can get it to fit properly. When it is really cold, I can use it successfully under another hood and with a scarf to hold the flaps rather than using the ties, and it is nice and warm that way.

I love my Aviator. I had been looking for the right one for years and I have found it. I tested it @ Stone Mountain Park, GA on Christmas day. It was a/b 30 degrees and it kept my head nice and warm all day. At one point it was too warm and I had to take it off for a few. This is also the softest leather I have ever felt. This is definitely a keeper. I look forward to wearing it for many years to come. I know it will last from the outstanding construction. Good Job guys and gals!!

We bought this cap to give our grandson for Christmas because he had asked for an aviator's cap. Although we had measured his head and ordered the appropriate size according to the catalog, the medium was too small. We learned that no size large was available, and we exchanged it for an XXL. The XXL is a slight bit too large.
