Go With Everything Shoes

I adore menswear-styled shoes, and these are perfect - go with gray, black, or brown, have a bit of a heel, and offer great style. That having been said, these shoes offer little padding and not as much arch support as I had hoped, so I plan on putting in a thin insole. I don't think these would be ideal for long periods of standing or walking, but for standard office wear, they're great. I'm an 8.5 or 39 in most European sized shoes, but followed the suggestion and ordered a 40 in this brand. Fits well overall but not sure I would give up my Danskos for more of this brand.

I have plantar fasciitis and struggle to find shoes that provide support and are cute. These boots are perfect. I bought them right before a trip and walked and walked in these boots right away. They are as comfy as tennis shoes. I love the look as well, very stylish over fitted jeans- a nice rugged riding boot. I have gotten lots of compliments. They felt a tad tight right across the top of the foot bed, but broke right in.

I've always wanted a pair of tall, stylish "riding boots" (in quotes because they aren't actually used for riding, just for looking long-legged and classy) and these are it! Carefully made, with quality leather, nice color shading, safe yet not clunky tread and heel, and elegantly understated decoration. I usually wear a 38 in European size but since the chart for this style said I should buy 39, I did. They are in fact a little bit too big. I'm keeping them anyway because I'll often be wearing them with thicker socks, but my recommendation would be to go with the size you usually wear. I get lots of compliments on these boots. They are a timeless style, very comfortable, and I expect to wear them for many years. (I'm 73, so that may be for a lifetime!)
Wears this shoe: In snow, cold, indoors, outdoors, day, night, w/skirts and jeans ? everywhere!
