A few years ago, I was a bridesmaid for a friend who suggested I get black sneakers (to match my dress) for the reception. The non-slip feature actually made a difference on rainy days. I also wore them on an 8-mile round trip walk through the city, and they remained comfortable.A note on fit: I bought these half a size bigger than my regular size, but I always do with sneakers that have a lot of padding (boots, too, sometimes), so I don't think it reflects on Reebok's fit as opposed to other brands'. No need to say I'd buy these again - I already did!

I have been wearing DMX walking shoes for nearly 20 years and have had excellent and many happy miles of satisfaction. I find this shoe the worst I have put my foot into and I am deeply distressed as to the future of Reebox if this is the way shoes are made. This is the only DMX women's shoe left out there to purchase, that look like a normal walking shoe. It's obvious that Reebox is on to other styles which are only more expensive and have nothing to do with the past quality of DMX walking shoes they used to be. Very disappointed.

These are good work shoes. I bought them because I stand for 8 hours every day, and walk on cement floors. They are very comfortable.
