My husband just bought this shoe and he has a very hard time finding comfortable shoes. His foot is very narrow and he typically has to special order all his shoes. He has been very pleased with the comfort of this shoe. It is a recent purchase so we can't reasonably comment on how the shoe will wear yet.

The Porter is a great shoe for work (office) as well as for casual use. I went to a local store to look for shoes but they didn't have this style in stock. Shoe Buy had the Porter at a significantly lower price.

As usual with Red Wing, this pair seems very well made, very high quality. Fit is excellent. A good all-around shoe, not a work shoe or a dress shoe, it can be worn for anything in between.
