Love my new Nevis Boots. I'm an architect and needed a shoe/boot that would work for days that include office, construction sites and traipsing about potential sites in the country...this boot does that well. Stiff lug sole which I appreciate. Quality work boot construction with some shoe design considerations. A little stiff to begin with but after a couple weeks is just fine. I've added a high quality insert as I do with all shoes for extra sole comfort and arch support.This would be a perfect boot for me if it came in a nice English Tan which would be my preferred color, but am very happy otherwise. Good service from ShoeBuy as I tried another boot and two other sizes to get to this one.

I have mixed opinions about the boot. I've worn them for three weeks now and am liking them more everday. They were definately a little narrower than expected so order wides if you think you'll need them but they are breaking in fine. The arch is a little weak also. We'll see if they outlast the Doc's that I previously wore for 4 years. Good looking, dry, and stable boot at a very good price. Jury is still out though.

The Nevis are the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on right out of the box. No breaking-in period was necessary.They are light but sturdy.I love them!

Ordered this boot go hiking in. Ankle padding was uncomfortable at first but quickly became more tolerable when I started mountain climbing. This boot allowed me to scale th Red Rock Mtns. of AZ with aplomb. They took me up trails, no trails, hills, mountains, streams and kept me dry and my feet in great shape following all that activity. A great boot. I recommend them.
Wears this shoe: When rugged footwear is required or in bad weather (heavy rain & snow).
