I have a very hard time finding any narrow shoes in the stores anymore. I have never bought this brand before & found it true to size & very comfortable. I wore it all day the first day & got several compliments. It is a very stylish shoe.

I am pleased with the Red Wing Leota. The fit is nice and snug and the shoe is both well made and leather-lined (this latter not so easy to find in walking shoes). I had a very hard time last year finding a touring shoe narrow enough--even the narrows were too wide--and good-looking enough to wear with dress slacks sightseeing. Ironically, these may be slightly a bit too narrow, but I have decided to keep these rather than exchange them for a medium because I do not want to have to make another return.

This shoe has been a good buy for me. I have a size 11AAAA shoe, so it is hard to find shoes that fit. The look of this shoe is nice, a little plain, maybe, but looks good with jeans. The quality of the leather is good. I had to order a size 12 to fit properly, so to me the shoe runs a little small. The width is definitely narrow. Oddly I also ordered this shoe in the the two-tone color (acron and bark); that shoes has more suede materials and for some reason the 12 was too big, so I would go back to an 11 for that particular color and material combination. Overall, this is a great shoe. I only gave it four stars because it could use a little more padding in the sole and around the heel and tongue for it to be an extremely comfortable all day walking shoe, and the arch is a little flat.

This shoe is for my dressier occasions. Love the styling and the color goes with most everything.It is definitely narrower than most AA sizes I've ordered --can't insert my orthotic. However, I am able to get in some gel heel cups, and since I don't wear this shoe when I walk a lot, it's working out fine.
