Nice shoes February 20, 2013

Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width
Very well made high quality shoes. As stated in other reviews best to order one-half size smaller than your regular size. Does take a bit of time to break in. I have worn mine off/on for about 3 weeks and still not quite broken in yet. Given the quality of these shoes I anticipate these lasting a long time.

Best boots I own! February 01, 2013

These boots are sturdy, rugged, and stylish! I debated for a long time on what size to get. I couldn't be happier with these boots. They do take a little bit of break-in, but once you get through it you'll have one of the most comfortable pairs of boots you've ever owned. I wear a size 12 tennis shoes. I ordered a size 11 and they are a perfect fit.

Classy alternative to Iron Rangers January 28, 2013

I own both the Iron Rangers and Beckmans and these definitely bring a notch up in terms of class. The black cherry color is my favorite and coupled with a commando sole, these shoes definitely make for an excellent boot in terms of looks, durability and traction. I tend to find that the leather gets scuffed easily more so than my IR's but then again, the IR's were meant to be thrashed with. All in all an excellent boot and one I look forward to owning more of!

True mans boots December 01, 2010

The other day I was riding my beautifully restored 1978 Honda CB wearing my Red Wing 6 when I had to stop at a red light. If you do not know what bike I am talking about check it out on the Internet. It's a classic and gets complements wherever I go.So, I am waiting for the light to change and this incredible blonde pulls up in her Mercedes. I see her staring at me and the bike. I rev my engine expecting another nice comment about my bike...She looks at me, my bike and then she says....."nice boots". Highly recommended!!!

One Sweet Shoe November 13, 2010

Based on previous reviews I ordered the shoe a half size smaller than I would normally wear, it worked out just right. I think the shoe sizing (being a half size larger) is designed to allow for a heavier sock for Winter. So, if that is what you need then order your normal size. The quality of construction is superb. I would prefer eye hooks at the top rather than eyelets but I prefer the sole on this shoe over the other Red Wing shoe style that has the hooks. The shoe is pricey but will be a daily friend for years to come. I also like the thought that it is made in the USA, so pricey or not, at least I helped keep someone employed in this down economy. Like I said, it is One Sweet Shoe.
