I bought this boot because I like an easy on, easy off sturdy,quality shoe and don't mind paying. I liked the look and Redwing has a great reputation, but they really dropped the ball here. I bought them for casual use, but have been unable to last much more than an hour at a time in these.I've worn Redwings before and was really disappointed in the bare bones quality of this shoe. Comfort level is about 2 out of 10. There's no cushioning or insole of any kind. Just a very hard bottom. Very hard to get into and out of. Requires both hands either way and some real pulling to get the off. Could be a little easier if they had a pull loop on the front as well. I thought that with an insole and a little patience they would get better. Not yet. After 8 wearings and even wetting them down and wearing them for an hour and a half to stretch them, they're still really tough on the feet. No way, no how are they worth the price. Try Timberland or Irish Setters, for about half the money.
