Nice shoe but not for me December 31, 2010

I bought this shoe mainly based on the the representation which indicated a shoe with a roomy toe box and sufficient support while walking, which I do regularly as a way of life, living in NYC.Unfortunately for me, while the toe box room was fine, the top straps on my left foot, cut into the top bone, leaving that area swollen and slightly abraided. Sadly, there is no way to anticipate this without wearing the shoe for an hour or two. Hence, I can not return this shoe for an exchange, nor can I wear it at all.So, a word of warning for anyone who has both a larger size shoe, mine is an eleven, as well as a high instep, this shoe might not be for you, inspite of the category of comfort shoe.

My daughter bought the shoes for me, they are more stylish and wider than the shoe i was wearing. they do look much better and I have received many compliments. I have had orthopedic issues with my right foot for years, finally found something nice.
