My Second Pair

The shoes initially feel much stiffer than the average pair of walking shoes. However, since I went through the same experience with the first pair (purchased about a year ago) I knew that once broken in they are a very supportive pair of shoes and become quite comfortable. I recommend them highly, especially for those of us who must wear custom orthotics!

I wear substantial orthotics - it's nice to have a shoe that is deep enough to accommodate them and still looks great. I especially like the cranberry color, many people comment on it.

I have huge orthotics and they actually fit in these shoes. They are well-made and comfortable. I got them in red and they don't look too orthopedic, actually kind of cute.

PW Minor Walkers

This is my third pair of the PW Minor Walker. They run a bit larger than usual although not a full half size. My first were 8 1/2W and after they stretched due to the soft comfortable leather they were boats on me. Next I got a 8 W and they were better but also stretched out so much and had to lace to tight. This pair I got an 8M and at first they were tad tight but after I wore around the house for a couple of hours for 3 days they were fine to wear outdoors and keep. I take out the insole, add a small rubber one to have something in the toebox and then my 3/4 prescribed orthotic. I am very heavy and wear these as my main shoes for walking, errands, ect. so they do stretch out and break down in 6-8 months. I wore my last for almost a year. I wish they would make them with more padding in the actual shoe so there was something when I take out the insole for my orthotic.
Wears this shoe: All the time, when I go out. Walking or errands.

I bought this shoe because it was recommended to allow for the use of my orthotics. It fits perfectly.
