Comfortable but sole too thin.
By Sissy7, from Springfield IL | May 23, 2013
The sole is too thin for me to wear while working on concrete floors. I have found that a thicker sole absorbs the shock. I kept the shoes anyway so I might wear them for shopping and other short trips.

Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked

This shoe was wide, as was the heel. Well-made, though, and seems like it would have been a comfortable walking shoe.

Wears this shoe: I wear them for special occocasions with family and friends
By Linda, from Springfield, MO | May 03, 2010
I like the way they look and they are deep enough in the toe box to accommodate my thick orthotics and my hammertoes. The Velcro straps kept coming loose, so I had a shoe repairman sew a buckle on and they're fine now. I have 3 extra pairs in my closet in case they are ever discontinued! I really wish they were available in off white or taupe for summer.

Looks good.
By Shelley, from Wauseon, Ohio | April 08, 2010
I need a comfortable shoe due to the fact that I have a neuropathy, and I need extra wide shoes due to the fact that I have bunions. I really like this shoe. It looks good, is somewhat dressy, and is comfortable. The only problem I have with the shoe is that the velcro strap comes unfastened once in a while. I wish it buckled instead.

True to size?
By Faith, from Chicago | December 05, 2009
I did the recommended thing and ordered a shoe a half size larger than I normally wear. When it came, my foot was swimming in it, so I had to return it.

Comfortable right out of the box
By fblack, from Maryland | November 03, 2009
I wear a narrow size and have custom orthotics, and these shoes fit great with my orthotics. The shoes felt VERY comfortable right out of the box. This Web site is the first one I've found that carries lots of narrow shoes that accommodate orthotics. I'm going to try other brands as well as I need a dressier shoe, and this one is very casual. The only concern I have is the Velcro closure. I thought the shoes had a strap closure only. The strap is more for looks. It's the Velcro that allows the adjustment for width.

Very supportive Mary Janes
By Irene, from Columbia, Maryland | October 19, 2009
After a car accident and torn knee ligaments leading to leg and foot swelling, I needed a shoe that gave me good support and fit. This is just the shoe I needed. It's sturdy and grips the street. But the downside is its weight and appearance. My kids think they look like Frankenstein shoes.

It's a very comfortable shoe
By Jannine, from Manti, Utah | June 24, 2009
I really like the comfort of the shoe. I first ordered a half size larger than I take because that was what was suggested by the company. When I received it it was too large so I sent it back and ordered the size I usually buy. It is still too large but tolerable. I will definitely order this style of shoe again but I will order it a half size smaller. I like this style of shoe for work or casual.
