This shoe works with skirts, pants and shorts. I normally wear a 7.5M in most shoes; however, this shoe seems to run long. Last year I went to a shoe store to have my foot measured and found I could take either a 7.5M or a 7W. Over the past 2 years I have purchased Sprig Break in 7.0M and 7.0W in both leather and suede. The suede stretches more than the leather. For me with this particular shoe, I think that the 7W provides the best fit.

I also have very very high arches and insteps. No shoes even touch my arches, so although I don't feel any arch support, these shoes are amazingly comfortable. Unlike the other reviewer, the strap didn't bother my instep, but I can see how it might on someone else. I so love the squared toes... I am ordering 2 more pairs of these, so when they're worn out I'll have back-ups. The look is unique, yet timeless. I wear them mostly pants and jeans, bc I don't like the look of maryjanes with dresses (shortens the legline). High quality. Glove soft suede. If you love the shoes and have high insteps, these are worth getting the strap lengthened or adjusted at your local shoe repair shop. They're THAT nice.

I normally wear a size 9.5 and ordered these in the 9 because I was afraid they would stretch out too much and be too big if I went with a larger size. Within a couple hours of wearing them they had stretched out to fit right. The memory foam is great. Super cushy for the first few hours and then they mold to fit your foot. This leaves a nice amount of arch support. I can walk around the house all day in them without my feet started to ache. They are also super warm.

I LOVE this shoe that I bought it in Plum as well!! They make your legs look sky high and they tighten everything. The BEST part of these heels is the comfort that they offer. I can go hours in these heels which is especially needed for semi formals and date nights in college. I would recommend these to anyone and everyone who wears heels. I would even recommend these to someone who wants to begin wearing heels!! Steve Madden makes wonderful heels and pumps and I just love adding to my collection!
