I am working my way towards barefoot running, and this shoe is a great step on the way there. It is shaped like a spiked track shoe, with minimal padding in the heel, which forces the runner onto the balls of the feet, improving the runner's gait, and reducing impact on joints. I love it.

I had bunion surgery on BOTH feet at the same time. When it came time for me to go into a conventional shoe, I was instructed to buy a tennis shoe. I am 55 years old and very much dislike any type or style of tennis shoe. I tried many, many brands and styles before I found a shoe that I could get on my foot. When I put this shoe on, I was in heaven. It fit like a glove. I was instructed to always wear my shoes; I'm not allowed to go bare foot. I put this shoe in the washing machine once a week. I have purchased 3 pairs of this shoe. Truly I do not know WHAT I would have done had I not found this wonderful shoe.
