Purchased these for my 83 year old mother who has to use a walker and needs good footing stability. She absolutely loves them and they required NO break in time. Very nice shoes for the compromised individuals who have difficulty with balance and walking abilities.

I was hoping to find a shoe both stylish and comfortable. Comfort is easy, but finding something acceptable for work has been difficult. I finally found both with these shoes - comfort with a "business casual" appearance that's great with slacks.The velcro straps allow you to adjust for swelling as needed. I have worn them with both thin and thick socks with no problems. They were comfortable as soon as I put them on, as well as after 8 hours of wear.

These shoes were for my 90 year old mother. It is her second pair of the same style - the last pair is over 3 years old and she wore them everyday. She loves these shoes, the toe box is roomy for her, the hook and loop closure allows her to put them on and take them off easily even with arthritis in her hands and fingers. She says they are great!
