My mom purchased these for the upcoming bad weather. She had to order double wide for her arthritic ankles and was very pleased in how they fit. Now she is ready for the cold wet weather we get here in Connecticut this winter.

I really like these boots. They are warm but not uncomfortably so. Don't squish my toes, slip or rub...which are the problems I often have with this type of boot. I think they are well made and will last several seasons, yipee! I recommend these boots to any one living in a wet cool climate where you have to walk a lot.

I live in a wet and sometimes icy area and walk to and from work daily. Needed a shoe that was comfortable and could hold up to the weather elements. I wore the shoe for the first time when it was raining and the shoe was comfortable and kept my feet dry even in the large puddles that accumulated on the streets. I strongly recommend this shoe both for comfort and warmth.

Bought this early for this winter so haven't tested it's warmth but I don't think I'll be disappointed. Very well constructed boot and comfortable, not clunky. I bought it 1 size larger for the room to use heavy socks and it is just as I expected.
