When I first tried the Propet Stretch Walkers on, I thought it felt too tight, but after wearing them just a short while they conformed to my feet amazing well. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it has affected my feet pretty badly. I work 8 hours a day on my feet and needed a shoe that was soft, wide and didn't push down on the top of my toes and front foot area. Ladies with bad feet... these shoes are a dream come true. They aren't the most attractive shoes, but hey, I'm 50 and comfort wins over style these days. They would not look good at all with a skirt. The things I like best about these shoes are: They have depth in both the front and rear part of the shoe and don't prop up your heel enough to put pressure on the front part of your foot, there is a lot of shoe and padding between your foot and the floor, the stretch panel on the top of the shoe is great because there's no leather pushing down on your foot and it gives easily to the natural bend of your foot as you walk, the slight lip at the heel keeps the shoe from slipping back like a clog, yet gives you the freedom of not having a shoe rub the heel. I think they're just awesome...you should try them and don't think twice.

This is the third pair of sneakers I have purchased from Propet. This is the most comfortable pair of shoes of this kind I have worn in a long time. They are extremely comfortable and I have worn them all day. They accomodate my foot brace nicely with room to spare. Since my first toe is fused the way the tip of the sneaker turns upward it makes walking easier without bending my foot.
