Have been looking for a waterproof shoe. I have thick ankles and can't wear boots. I wear sneakers practically 365 days a year. These are comfortable and great for wet, snowy weather, if you don't have to walk in drifts! Could wear them anytime. Am glad to have found them in WIDE.

I've had a hard time finding shoes that fit well. I discovered Propet, and I'm very pleased. I ordered a 2E width, and was relieved to have such a good fit. They are nice and snug, without being tight. They are so comfortable that they are now my everyday shoes, not just reserved for hiking. Will likely purchase Propet shoes again in the future.

Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked
I've purchased many Propet shoes and this is the first one I've been disappointed with. I can wear a size 7.0XW for sandals but always go 1/2 size up for closed shoes including past Propet hiking boots, etc (all of them I loved). I purchased the 7.5XW but both my big toes in this shoes slightly scraped something - maybe the very stiff top. It did not feel like it would be a problem at first (maybe just needed a little breaking in)...until after the end of the day when it felt like an elephant has been standing on them.

These felt great right out of the box. I have difficulty finding wide hiking shoes and these fit really well. I'm planning to take to Europe so I will know more in a few months. I'm planning to use for fairly intense day hikes but not with a heavy pack. I'm pleased that someone offers the wide widths.
