I ordered this boot in extra wide, because I am a very large lady. The bottom of the boot was certainly plenty wide, but the part that came up over the ankle didn't seem like it was any wider than a normal width boot. I couldn't get the zipper up all the way no matter how hard I tried. This made the boots fit a bit awkwardly and pretty uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.Also, the boots didn't seem to do much for warmth at all. I needed these to wear in the cold and snowy Minnesota winter, and when it was cold and snowy, my feet were cold also.

Boots are warm so far haven't tested in snow yet. I bought these so I could just slip on,which I can do except the velcro strap is not long enough to adjust properly. my foot is wide so I have to put velcro to close at the very edge. So when I walk the strap is not as tight as it should be and my foot slips forward and is hard to walk in. it might help if there was another strap by the ankle.
