This is a very nice boot for BostonWinter. Nice enough to wear to work and warm enough to walk there. It fits a bit snug so I have to wear a lighter sock than I normally would in the winter but my feet have been very warm. Definitely recommend it but go up a size if you want to wear regular or heavy socks.

In this climate the snow is only part of the problem. One day there is sleet, the next day a blizzard, followed by several days of below zero temperatures, then out of nowhere rain which melts the high snow banks causing floods, then extreme cold again to freeze all the water which causes very slippery ice sheets that you can't safely drive or walk on. These boots keep my feet warm and dry up to my calves and I can comfortably walk in snow, sleet, and ice.

This boot is not true to size. I ordered 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear and it was still way too small and narrow. It felt at least a full size smaller. Getting my foot in the boot was a struggle so I don't even think a larger size would work.
