Comfortable shoe July 20, 2010

Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked
This is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever had. It is about 1/2 size too short and narrow though. I ordered another style of shoe by Propet in the same size and width and they fit perfectly. I wear inserts so it is nice to be able to customize these shoes. The only other issue is that the sponge-like material is already wearing thin on the inside. This is probably because they are a little snug. I would have given this 5 stars if they fit better, but they seem to be stretching out and breaking in well. I have only worn them for two weeks. All in all, still very comfortable.

I'm a Walking Man Again. February 19, 2009

First I will mention I read reviews and more images of this shoe on other sites. Like most Propet shoes the reviews were glowing. The images showed a shoe that might of been a bit wide by default as some people mentioned they felt they were. Myself I am 30 pounds overweight and when bought shoes off the shelf would be best fit with 9-1/2 just as often as 9-1/2 wide. I bought 9-1/2 wide and these shoes are right on the money. The stretchable upper foot is very comfy. The stretchable material around the sides is very firm but there so you have support but some flexibility for swelling feet. The over all build is quite strong and this is a great shoe when walking uphill. Two lady friends say the shoes look good and not like an orthopedic. I would say it is a very nice compromise.I have edema, swelling in the ankles and feet, and I wear compression hose. They help tremendously once you find the right pressure rating for your needs. Yet I was totally surprised how quickly these shoes relieved pain in my feet and legs during and after walking. I have gone from zero miles a day and awaking with throbbing feet to walking about 1 mile a day and no pain when awaking and not nearly as tired feet after a walk. With all these combined I am a Walking Man again. Thank you ShoeBuy!
