My feet tend to swell therefore I buy a wide size. My only criticism is the strap could be a little longer to allow for comfortable adjustments.

This is an attractive well made shoe. It is a little wider through the instep than I would like, but it accommodates my bunions well.

I'm going to Europe. I was looking for a shoe sturdy enough for hiking, comfortable for walking hours on end, and dressy enough for touring cathedrals. After reading the reviews I decided to order these. Good choice! No break in period. I've been wearing them practically full time since they arrived. I wear an 11 N, which is very hard to find. They fit perfectly. They look good with sport socks or nylons. I highly recommend them. I got the black ones. Now I'd like to get a brown pair too.
