I have looked for years for a shoe that my 86 year old mother can get on her swollen feet without pain and wear comfortably. Great for a nursing home patient who does not go outside often, but ok for a medical appointment.

I have edema and advanced arthritis and needed shoes which wouldn't bind or put pressure on painful areas on my feet. The Cronus is the perfect shoe for people with my condition. The Velcro tabs allow me to put on and take off the shoes painlessly. They also allow me to adjust the fit as the size and shape if my feet change. The neoprene material molds itself to the shape of my feet, avoiding any pressure spots. The shoe is lightweight and comfortable, even when worn for long periods of time. They give me excellent stability and support when I need to get up from my wheelchair. I recommend the Cronus highly to anyone with a foot condition.

I purchased these shoes hoping it would solve the bunion and hammertoe pain . I did put a half sole insert in the shoe so my foot didn't slide over to one side. However I have worn these outside and since no instructions were included in the shipment I do not know if i can wash them. If I wear socks on my feet with the shoes they rub and irritate the feet. I only wish they were really an outdoor/indoor shoe. People that have foot problems ask me if they are comfortable and I can answer yes for a limited time, as they do not give much side support as needed but then they are a slipper right?

Bought this shoe for my elderly mother who has to wear thick bandages on her feet and legs. I was attracted by the full opening on top, velcro closures on both sides as well as the velcro at the heel. She has had to wear large bedroom slippers for several months because she couldn't get shoes on, but has worn these everyday since I took them to her. She seems to really enjoy them which is unusual for her! The only problem was that the velcro on the sides needed to be up closer to the top edge for her. Fortunately, I was able to sew on extra velcro strips with my sewing machine. This was relatively easy to do. At the age of 99 1/2, I hope she lives long enough to need another pair, and I hope the same shoe is still available if she does!

I have an extremely wide foot and my foot is not very long either, therefore it is very difficult to buy shoes that fit my "square" foot. Although this shoe only comes in XW it still fits well. The fabric is stretchy and that makes the difference. For some reason the back of my foot caves in more and more as it gets closer to my heal. These shoes do not taper as my foot does so they look odd on the back. This is why I try to get backless or only one strap on the back, but again I am limited. The tan shoes feel a little smaller than the black so I am not as happy with them. These shoes look nice enough to wear to the grocery store or on any quick errand. All and all for a slipper shoe these shoes work well for me.
