Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked With bunions, I have trouble finding shoes that are wide enough. These shoes are great in the 4E. Now only are they wide enough, but I can even wear a heavy sock. They are great for walking in the snow or hiking in nicer weather. They are very warm and always waterproof.

Finally! A Comfortable Wide Hiking Boot! November 17, 2012
Reviewer: Wendy from Warminster, PA
Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I have the bunion that is taking over the world on my left foot. It makes finding comfortable shoes a miserable experience. I have been trying to find comfortable women's hiking boots for years. Most hiking shoes and boots come in a wide, but the wide is not nearly wide enough. When I found that the Propet Cliff Walker came in a 2EE(double wide) I just had to give them a try. I ordered a half size larger than my regular shoes which I usually do with hiking boots. When I put them on for the first time, I could not contain my joy. They were comfortable right out of the box! I immediately felt I could walk all day in these boots. There was plenty of room for my bunion and the sides are soft enough to have some give as well. The heel was comfortably snug and there was no rubbing as I walked around. Ordering a half size larger was a smart move for me to ensure my toes never touch the front of the boot. I have replaced the insoles with Powerstep orthotics for greater arch support - plenty of room for orthotics. I have not yet hiked in them but I am really looking forward to it. And since they are waterproof, I can wear them in the winter in freezing rain and wet snow. Hoorah!

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Though I had to send back the first pair I ordered to get an extra wide - not surprising as this was the first pair of Propet shoes I've ordered - but I'm really enjoying them. Very comfortable and don't crimp my toes - another problem I sometimes have. Glad I got them!
