I am able to fit my shoes in these boots, and though they are sort of heavy in weight, they fit the bill to keep my feet dry and warm.

I love this boot. It fits over my regular shoes. I am a school crossing guard and on rain/slush snow days I am out for over an hour and my feet get soaked no matter what type of shoes I wore. Then it took my shoes a couple of days to dry out. These boots were perfect, my feet are dry and my shoes are even ready for the next sunny day. I love them. They even come up high enough so that my pant legs stay dry.
