I normally wear a 10 1/2, so I ordered an 11. When they came in they felt like a 10 (maybe smaller). I did not have time to send them back and wait for another pair to be shipped, so I ordered a size 12, and did a return on the size 11. The size 12 is a little big, but a gel insole solved that. Definitely need the included straps to hold them up. Went dancing at a Mardi Gras ball in them, and they felt very good, did not hurt my feet. If you are looking for top notch footwear, these are not the boots for you. However, they are a very good costume boot. Very good value.
