Plantar fascitiis is characterized as a painful irritation of the foot. The thick tissue on the bottom of the foot swells. The most common complaint is pain in the bottom of the heel.

To be honest, I've never spent this kind of money on shoes but I've developed foot issues and I have to say these shoes are fantastic. I will be buying more, rebuilding my "shoe wardrobe" into shoes I can wear comfortably.

Very comfortable and very nice looking. Can be worn for almost any occasion. Needs better shoe laces. The ones supplied do not stay tight and must be retied to keep the good fit and support.

I bought this shoe for walking long distances. I gave it two stars because the construction appears to be of good quality. However, the shoe feels tight and narrow for a 12 6E. My toes were pinched. Something strange in the design results in the outside edge being slightly raised while there is no arch support so your feet collapse inward at the arch, causing arch and knee pain. Also, the shoe is heavy and fatiguing to walk in. I ended up returning them.

The Drew Helia is really a comfortable shoe. I have many lower body problems & this shoe has helped tremendously with all the pain. I have 3 pairs of these now in different colors & truly love them.
