| | About Goodyear Welt: |
|---|
| | | Goodyear welt is a shoe construction technique used in the manufacturing of footwear with stitched soles. This construction method uses a narrow strip of leather called welt which is first sewn to the upper and inner sole of the shoe, then stitched to the outsole creating a stronger bond between the parts. Goodyear welt construction allows multiple sole replacements as well as better air flow through the shoe. |

Dr. Martens Pascal 8-Eye Boot Cartegena
Cool looking boots
April 01, 2013
Reviewer: Maggie from Illinois
They fit well, I am a women's US size 8, and they fit just fine. The only annoyance is that I have to loosen the laces all the way down to put them on, and then relace them once I've out them on. However that's because they fit close to the ankle so there's no way to slip one's foot in otherwise. They also look great, so can't complain, they've worn well for a few weeks, and haven't given me blisters.

Dr. Martens Clemency 8-Eye Boot
Second pair of Docs

After buying, and loving, my Triumph 1914W boots, I found myself eyeing the Clemency ones. I'm a size 7.5 and the size 7 fits wonderfully with or without socks, so I would definitely suggest taking the lower number if you're in between. The heel also added nice support and based on ten mins of walking to class, I don't anticipate a long break-in period.

Bought mine in pink...so far so good...boot socks imperative.... comfortable work boot feel with a cowboy boot style/look; didn't want classic western boot heel or pointed toe
