I couldn't wait to write a review about this PF Flyer shoe since I have been so impressed with the shoe..!1. I purchased the natural color and it really has that retro look, a great summer color but they all look good.2. The fit is perfect if you plan on wearing a mid to heavy sock.. I like a little room and over the years I have learned NOT to buy shoes, especially athletic or walking shoes too tight. The shoe seams a bit long but understand, it has a rubber bumper on the front, so that makes the shoe seem a little larger...My opinion stick with your normal size and pick up some walking socks like the ones that have some padding in the toe and heel.. The medium to heavy weight walking socks really add to the comfort and cushioning effect.3.The look reminds me of my childhood days in the late 50's early 60's when you just had to have a pair of PF Flyers.. You know those commercials about running faster, jumping higher..!4.You won't believe how comfortable these shoes are and the cushion they have for a canvas gym shoe..Really nice..Have a little fun like like me an old timer and put on a pair of retro shoes from the past... PF Flyers!

My son, age 18 now, has worn a size 17 shoe for 3yrs. It's difficult to find stylish every day shoewear for a reasonable price. He loves the PF Flyer/Converse/Chuck Taylor style, but rips out of regular Chuck Taylors rather quickly. The Grounders are more durable, appropriate for daily wear in the winter weather of Wisconsin with their rugged soles. Love these shoes, only wish is that they were available in black leather!

In my opinion, this shoe is the "all star" when it comes to a comfy, low-top basketball classic. There are no "con"s to this shoe. Well-made and supportive, I would be ad-"verse" to wearing anything else.
