Loved the size and style of the body of this purse, but a little disappointed in the quality of the leather. Great cellphone pocket on the back, but might be difficult to pull a smartphone out of it. The strap and zipper pulls are vinyl, which was very disappointing, and the strap is attached to the back side, about 1.5" in from each end, which I also did not like. Returned purse due to vinyl strap and strap placement.

This bag caught my eye at a local retailer at an unrealistic price. Shoebuy came to the rescue. I was looking for a tote style with a middle zipper pocket to facilitate better internal organization and this bag answers that need. Years ago I had a similar bag with two handles, one always slipped off my shoulder. This double secured handle prevents that and yet allows easy access to the contents.I gave #818 4 stars instead of 5 because the leather is quite stiff and the outside magnetic clasp needs encouragement. (The inner one grasps very nicely.)To Baggs, one suggestion for improvement--the black lining looks nice but a lighter color would make it easier to view the contents. I've seen other bags trending toward a lighter lining and that is important.This is a nice size bag without being huge. I'm a petite person so cannot carry a huge bag.

Bought the green one because it looked cool it the picture on the website, but it was really green when it got here. I gave it to my g/f anyway and she loved it (though I ended up buying her the silver and pink one, too, which she likes better). But the purse itself is pretty well made for the money and she likes the features.

I have other baggalinis that do the job, but are stuffed. I have bought other purses and totes from various other stores, but I read one of the reviews here and decided to try the Town Tote since I love the versatility of the baggalinis. Here goes, Likes: big enough for everything, Ipad, lunch, inside purse that I easily pull out to change out totes, bottom-zippered outside pocket for suitcase handle, inside pockets for glasses and pens, other outside pockets for water and umbrella, fabric lightweight and nice colors, light color inside to easily see "stuff", zippered top, double handles that stay on shoulder with adequate length. Only one wish: that there was a single long strap for "across the shoulder" convenience as I don't always have a suitcase:) But as I said above, I have it in 4 colors, the basics and the red! And it is okay to wear with either orangy or the blue reds. If you want something a little oversized and lightweight, this is it!

I have been buying cheap purses for years and I got just what I paid for. I wanted a larger size bag as I like to carry a large billfold(holds money, all credit cards, coin purse) and it is big (7-1/2' by 4" and almost 1-1/2" thick. It fits perfectly in the main compartment with room left for other things.I use the turnkey outside pocket for my house and car keys and the zippered outside pocket for my cell phone.One outside pocket I use for papers, the other for personal items, combs, mirror, lipstick etc.There is also one inside zippered compartment inside the main compartment. I was completely impressed by the quality of the fabric and the construction of the zippers. I do like the wide straps and usually put them together for a shorter shoulder bag. Occasionally the straps twist but they are easy to untwist. Generally the straps do stay on my shoulder. I will never buy a cheap bag again. This one saves me so much time and trouble.I am using some of my "careful how I spend it" Christmas money to have Santa deliver the exact same bag in the greenish -blue shade. Buy it! You won't be sorry!
