I have wide feet that are almost square in the front. So while I can normally find shoes in 4E [my width]or 5E, they usually taper at the front, requiring a larger size for width comfort, but a shoe that's too large. The Propet Pedwalker 1 solves those problems. Although 5E, the width is OK. More importantly, b ecause of the toe box [highly reminiscwent of the New Balance 926, I didn't have to go up 1/2 a size for my toes. So the shoes fit comfortably, right out of the box, no break-in time. It is a BGREAT shoe!

So far, I love this shoe. I've had plantar fascitis going on 2 years and this shoe is very comfortable. I have very high arches and instep. As a result they were a little snug in the top of the foot with my orthotics in them, but no problem after the first wearing. I normally walk 10+ miles daily for work, but am currently on a 3 hour on feet restriction. They feel great now and hope they will continue when back to full duty.

If this the first pair I ordered...they were larger than I expected, a bit too comfortable, but I still use them for walks. They're OK though. The second pair is smaller in width, just right, very comfortable. Used for outings, shopping and generally going places. I'm satisfied w/both pairs. No dislikes. Bought for diabetic reasons.

I bought these shoes for my husband, who has severe neuropathy (numbness, burning and pain) in his feet, and he LOVES them. He says they are the only shoes he can wear for any length of time that do NOT cause him pain afterwards. I would highly recommend them for anyone who has trouble wearing shoes because of neuropathy in their feet.

I needed the deep shoe box for my custom orthotic insert. These worked really well. I have two pairs.

I like the support the shoe offers. I find the heel wears more quickly than some brands. The overall sole wears okay, but the heel seems to last about 5-6 months or less. However, it's still a comfortable fitting shoe.

I purchased this shoe hoping to find some comfort for my aching feet. The review sounded good. However, the comfort is not at all good. My feet still hurt and haven't seen any improvement with these shoes. I'm sure it has helped some people, but with regret, not me.

I'm so glad that this shoe is back!! I have been waiting for so long hoping it would come back. This shoe is so much better than the Ped Walker 25. The velcro just doesn't give the same support that the lace up version has. This is the best, most durable walking shoe that I have purchased since becoming a letter carrier 10 years ago. It also fits my ortodics with ease.

I own a pair of PED RX in NUT Color. I like them so much I wanted a black pair to wear with dress clothes. I have orthics and they wear very well with these shoes.
