The way the shoe laces are held is terrible and won't last long. I'm very disappointed! The rest of the shoe is awesome, which is too bad

This is a very, very nice looking shoe and comfortable as well. I feel a little like I'm wearing slippers. A nice tread and some cushioning for your feet without looking like hiking boots or running shoes. Nice job. (The color, by the way, is much darker than in the photo provided. It's more of a dark sienna).

I love them, imperfect as they are

I loved the design when I first saw them in a Patagonia catalogue, and this holiday season they seemed the perfect mix for me. I needed a comfortable, elegant, yet rugged shoe, and they surely fit the bill well. After I received them I appreciated the look and the comfort. Although I hesitated giving a full 5 stars, in the end I felt that the negatives were not significant enough for me to shave 1 star. The biggest dissapointnent is the lining that has not been sewn well in the left shoe, and it is pulled by the laces and you can see it easily due to the high contrast. It makes it look like a poor quality or old shoe, after just a couple of days of wearing them (in the city, at the office). The design isn't quite as nice as in the pictures, and, in my opinion, they smell strange. I know that noticing this may be strange as well, and the laces look a bit too raw for my taste, making the shoes better suited for very casual occasions. They are good shoes overall, and I am happy that I bought them, but I think I could have been happier.

These shoes are very warm and comfortable. They are solidly constructed, but are light and flexible. This shoe is equally at home in the bush doing day walks or for city activities. What fantastic shoes!
Wears this shoe: At work, out for a meal or day walks.
