Glad I bought this . Light and compresses well . One wouldn't think this garment could pack the warmth that it does . Wore it today for the first time , ice climbing . Had on a mid wt layer , 100 wt fleece with a soft shell . As pretty chilly . Threw the patty on and I was toast . Temps were low teens with a good stiff wind . Easy in the single digets 0 with the wind chill . Fit is good for layering under or over a shell .I'm 5'10" 190# with a square build and the large fit perfect . Not to baggy as a under layer , and works well as a over layer with no restrictive movements .

I have owned the ladies version of this jacket and found that it is very light weight yet keeps me warm- great to layer under other coats too and takes up hardly any room in my carry-on when travelling. My husband is a frequent traveller too and couldn 't help but notice that this jacket went with me everywhere in the Fall and winter. He was thrilled to lean that the jacket also has a mens version and asked me to order him one for Christmas but when he saw the package he couldn't wait and is now using his early Christmas present! Easy to clean- wash gentle cycle and hang dry or dry on low heat if in a hurry.
