This shoe has been great for me to wear to work as well as around the house or in casual settings. At the start, it was a little stiff and rubbed my heels, but after a week of bandaids and frequent walking, they have broken in well and are incredibly comfortable. The bottom is very cushioning while maintaining my ability to feel every surface while I walk. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10, but this 8.5 fits perfectly.

As far as comfort goes, it's gonna be hard to find something better. They're soft with the perfect amount of cushioning while still staying true to their minimalist category. My only gripe has been that the shoe, although leather, does not breath as good as it should. Part of that may be that there is a cloth material sween inside the shoe, which may interfere with the natural breathing qualities of leather. I stand and walk around in these shoes all day long and I would buy them again. I rate them a 10 out of 10the in comfort and a 9 out of 10 overall. The quality is a 10 out of 1010the so far, although I have owned them about a month. Time will tell if the perceived quality will stand up to the test of time.

The shoes are very comfortable and look great. They scratch kind of easily but if you use some shoe polish on them they look good as new. Such is the nature of leather.

I've been looking for a "barefoot"-type shoe that also looked good enough for the office, and the Patagonia Loulu hits it perfectly. Soft and flexible sole, thin insole, wide toe box, and the fabric lining on the interior make it wonderful in both texture and movement. I am very tempted to pick up a pair of the sister Patagonia slip-ons - the Pau. I will admit that the bulbous front of the shoe isn't my favorite aesthetic shape, but the toe box freedom cannot be beat.
