Product Description (Men's Patagonia Drifter Gore-Tex)

Air cushion compression molded midsole made with 15% recycled EVA center that cradles the foot and provides cushioning. Bi-Fit Dual density insole board made from 100% recycled polyethylene/polyurethane, provides support and stability underfoot. Capilene linings made from recycled material wick away moisture keeping feet cool and comfortable; quick drying. Bellows tongue keeps out water and debris. Has a medium width, full toe box and medium arch/instep.

I tried numerous other light hiking shoes and boots before buying these. Even when I went up a full size from my usual shoe size, I found that all the others had too narrow a toe box or were otherwise uncomfortable. I bought these a half size larger than my usual and they fit perfectly. They felt great right out of the box and have continued to fit and perform well since. They seem to be very effective at keeping water out.
