Product Description (Men's Patagonia Drifter Gore-Tex)

Air cushion compression molded midsole made with 15% recycled EVA center that cradles the foot and provides cushioning. Bi-Fit Dual density insole board made from 100% recycled polyethylene/polyurethane, provides support and stability underfoot. Capilene linings made from recycled material wick away moisture keeping feet cool and comfortable; quick drying. Bellows tongue keeps out water and debris. Has a medium width, full toe box and medium arch/instep.

Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I really like these shoes. They are solid feeling and look really good. The leather seems to be of high quality. I'm a believer that you get what you pay for and I am very particular on the type of shoes i will purchase. I researched and read many reviews before i threw down the coin on these and I'm not sorry that i did! The only downfall that I think might become an issue down the road is where the sides of the sole join the side of the shoe and the rubber protector along the front and sides of the shoes. I've had the shoes approx. 3 weeks and I can see that these are going to be the problem areas (separation). If they don't get any worse then i'm fine with it but if it does then i will be returning them - keep your reciept! It may be a part of the break in process i don't know - this is why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 but I don't think any shoe is perfect. The shoes are very comfortable and confident inspiring. I don't feel rocks through the sole and the support seems to be good on the ankles as well. They are slick on tile floors when walking in from the wet but no biggie. I look forward to many camping and hiking trips in them to see how they stand up against the elements. All in all i really do like this shoe and I look forward to many years with them (hopefully)!

Wouldn't own a different pair of shoes. I have one for work, one for dressy, and one for yard work. Oh, did I forget, one for the trail too. I'm serious!buy one, two, or three - you won't be sorry.

Like just about everything! Super comfortable, warm, great treads, stylish (even like the stitching), have received many comments and had a moment in the woods where i felt so grateful for them, like walking on a cloud--awesome to have so much confidence over a pair of shoes.noticed that the lug depth (heel height) is a bit high, not the best on concrete... but in general they're the nicest shoes i've had in a while, well worth the $.
