This is my 2nd pair. I've used them on several trips where there was lots of walking and rough terrain. They are well made, supportive and have ventilation. I also like that they aren't completely flat so my pants don't drag.

As other reviewers have noted, these shoes are comfortable right out of the box; no break-in needed. I love the traction, and even those this pair has no Gore-tex, they kept my feet dry while walking in driving rain for an hour. So far, I'm very pleased.

Very comfortable. Best hiking shoes I have ever bought. Didn't have to break them in. Wore them almost all day every day for a full week while hiking up in the Canadian Rockies. All other hiking shoes end up hurting my feet after a day and give me blisters. Not these though. Love them!

I like my new Patagonia Drifter A/C very much. I was disappointed that the leather Patagonia Drifter for women was discontinued. I have a brown leather pair that I bought two years ago and they are great for hiking and riding motorcycles. I would like very much to have another pair. The mesh nubuck leather shoes I bought are good for casual wear. I wear them almost every day.
