Patagonia Iliana Halter Dress OK, but not as amazing as Id hoped

I read a bunch of online reviews of this dress before buying. They all raved about how wonderful it was, but that it ran a bit small and to order a size up. I'm usually a Small or Med, so I ordered a Medium. It fits OK, but on the loose side ... so I'd say it actually runs pretty true to size. Hopefully it will shrink a bit when I wash, since it is mostly cotton. The A-line skirt drapes loosely -- feminine and flattering. The shelf bra isn't as supportive as other halters I have -- I may decide to wear a strapless underneath. The straps/shoulders are set surprisingly wide, even on my wide swimmer's shoulders. I have no idea how someone with narrower shoulders could wear this dress comfortably. Overall, it's alright and I'll wear it, but I'm not itching to buy another.

I received this as a gift for Christmas! I was excited when opening to see how nice it was in person. One of the warmest fleeces I have ever worn! I liked it so much I bought another one! Great quality! Good Fit! I am a large in everything in the size was just a bit bigger than me, but it was a comfortable size!

I bought this because my father really liked the look of the sweater and how warm it was. He is an XL Extra Large in everything, however the L Large seemed to fit him perfectly. The pockets are nice and soft, while the whole sweater is too. Nice jacket for spring or fall, but not enough warmth for winter and snow!

I live in Boston, which is cold and rainy during the winter times. The hood feature makes this perfect for walking outside when suddenly it begins to rain or snow. The size seemed to fit me correctly. However, it is a little too long to layer underneath a winter jacket. Still warm, and stylish!
