Product Description (Patagonia Atacama Pack)

The Atacama Pack is a versatile, two-compartment wet/dry backpack! It carries a wetsuit in a separate compartment with mesh drainage/ventilation and it even features exterior compression straps to carry a skateboard! This bag has a generous main compartment with dump pockets for quick organization on the go. The internal organization has plenty of options for electronics and daily supplies, such as, a secure lanyard for house and/or car keys and an interior padded computer sleeve that is raised off the ground to protect from impact. The sleeve secures with a buckle closure and doubles as an insulated-hydration reservoir complete with tube port. The exterior pocket holds wet items -- accommodating a wetsuit -- and protects interior contents and the adjustable webbing with buckles carries a skateboard or bulky clothing. This pack comes complete with stretch-woven pockets that accommodate a full range of water bottle shapes and sizes. The shoulder straps and back panel are made of Airflow-mesh and the bag includes an adjustable sternum strap with emergency whistle. The top-mounted, reinforced haul handle makes this backpack easy to carry or pull. The Atacama pack weighs (1 lb 8.5 oz) 695 g and is made of 420-denier 100% nylon oxford plain weave. The base is 840-denier 100% ballistics nylon. The lining is 200-denier 100% polyester. The whole backpack is treated with DWR (durable water repellent) finish making this pack durable in even the worst weather conditions!
