I have worn Birkenstocks for well over 30 years - mostly for casual wear - as years ago they were not always suitable for the workplace, due to the uber-comfortable, but very casual styles. In more recent years, the different Birkenstock brands, such as Papillio, have come up with such amazing new styles that they're perfect for all but the most formal occasions. Additionally, the Tabora style is super comfortable, and just beautiful; I constantly get compliments on them, and as a result I wear my Birks every single day, absolutely everywhere. It's just wonderful to be able to be comfortable and stylish when I have to be on my feet all day. No more leg and foot pain! My podiatrist, however, though happy for me, is probably less than thrilled from a financial perspective, as I no longer have to visit his office for costly appointments. Simply the best shoe ever! My goal is to buy them in every color.
