I have always been against these kinds of shoes because I thought that they were so unattractive, but as I have gotten a little older, and comfort seemed more important since I am on my feet all day, I decided to give these a try. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and since they have the thinner straps and the rhinestone accents they really are cute too. I get tons of compliments on them and they give great support. My feet are very happy!

I had the Papillon in taupe nubuck for so long the edges of the nubuck curled up. I wanted something dressier to wear to work. This model is an all time fave. The silve mesh I love for the most part. However, I didnt realize how 'mesh' the material loooked. It makes me feel a lil bit like a retiree in Florida. The rhinestones on the buckle are the saving grace there. Also, the footbed has a diff. texture than my other taupe ones. Those are smooth and comfy. this foootbed feels like there's dirt in there, even though there isn't. All in all I'd buy them again though. A few coworkers did remark they make my feet look big. They look better w/pants than with skirts or shorts. Ultimately, it's a cute shoe you can go around the city in taking the bus or riding bikes and not feel like you're wearing the birks from college.
