Much lighter that expected. My foot size is a 10.5 but I was advised to buy a half size larger. After trying it on, I should have bought a size 12. The shoe provides good ankle support which is perfect for leg squats and leg press exercises.

The shoe is a great workout shoe. However, I did request a 9.5 shoe size. I was sent a size 9. Maybe if you are out of a specific shoe size, you could contact the customer before shipping.

This shoe is very fitting to athletes interested in martial arts,weight lifting,wrestling or any type of combat sport where shoes are allowed. I bought this shoe for my practice of traditional chinese kung fu. The old style wore a boot that was common to the area it was practiced in. The ones you buy are very cheaply made. I needed a boot that was practical and durable. This was the boot for me, it far exceeds my expectations and I will use the boots for the life of my t.c.m.a. practice, which will be the rest of my life.
