Great Sandal for my Particular Feet!
By Mike, from Northern California | July 17, 2014

I have worn sandals for years--good quality ones--I am a big guy. I have always liked sandals for the less-confining feeling they gave and they helped deal with a particular The foot problem I have with many regular shoes--that being "hammertoes". I always needed a shoe w/extra toe box depth. As I grew older, however, I began to feel a little less "steady" in my sandals. I had avoided the "fisherman" style because of the toe problem. However, I am happy to say that the Orthofeet Clearwater model works wonderfully--it provides support and plenty of room in the toe box. The velcro straps give you a quick and secure fit. There are 2 inserts included but I didn't need them for a good fit. This is a great shoe--especially for those that are diabetic.

ortho feet 420
By Happy Camper, from El Paso ,Texas | June 19, 2014

This shoe is Fantastic, true to fit with and length. I had foot surgery and have a hard time finding a orthopedic shoe that would work with my orthotic. I was originally given the orthofeet 410 from my doctor and this shoe is the one that started it all for me.Not only did it feel Great but I can walk long distances and for hours without my feet killing me.they are black so I wanted something in brown so I could have a black and a brown pair .So I ordered the orthofeet420 and it was just like the 410 just a perfect fit and no breaking them out of box just perfect .I will only buy orthofeet from now on. I'm going to get refund and stick with ONLY Orthofeet shoes true fit comfortable light weight adds support to my feet feels like walking on a cloud and at the end of the day my feet feel fine. I give orthofeet shoes 410 and 420 5 star rating all day long.

Love these shoes
By Erika, from colorado springs, CO | June 18, 2014

These shoes are so comfortable and don't hurt my feet at all. Only the Velcro strip is too short so they are in the shop right now getting adjusted for swelling of diabetic feet. Otherwise they are great.

not good for bunions
By bunions, from USA | June 09, 2014

I asked Orthofeet to offer a slipper several years ago, because I liked the 701/704 series shoe so much. I have bought several pairs of those for myself and as gifts for others. This slipper is not soft and pliable. It is stiff, even though broken in; the upper leather is stiff and hurts the bunions. It is also difficult to stand in for long periods because the soles do not have any cushioning. They are not flat; the weight of the wearer is pushed forward. Even though I customarily remove my shoes once in the house to keep floors clean, I feel compelled to remove the slippers and wear my shoes inside my house. This is a deficient product and since it is sold for people with foot problems it should be remade using higher quality leather and soles.
