| | About Cushioned: |
|---|
| | | Cushioned shoes, or neutral cushioning shoes, are shoes designed for runners with normal to high arches who tend to underpronate. Cushioning shoes generally have a padded midsole with layers of extra cushioning in the heel and forefoot that provide better energy return to the body when compressed while helping absorb heel shock and encouraging a more natural foot motion. |

I have arthritis in my left foot and most shoes push on the top of the foot causing pain. I found these do not ans are very comfortable.

This shoe feels great. It also helps with my overpronation. I wear these every day for work and haven't had as much wear and tear on my feet and back.

The shoes have made it possible for my husband to continue walking.

Reviewer: Cathy from Hawaii
The orthofeet 640 was a wonderful investment. My husband has serious back problems but the shoes have made it possible for him to continue walking and perhaps even help put off future back surgery.
Wears this shoe: The shoes are worn every day.

Orthofeet 650
Almost Right
August 11, 2012
Reviewer: Ben from Northern California
I have arthritis and diabetes so shoes are hard to find. These are close enough to wear, but I only got them because ORTHOFEET doesn't seem to have 9 1/2 N in their oxfords. Also, I keep hoping some walking shoes will have the inside remain flat under the toes and just bevel up the outer sole the last 3/4 in. under the toe. Maybe someday someone will make a shoe for rigid big toe joints. These 650s seem OK except for my special quirks.
Wears this shoe: most the time when I have to wear shoes.
