Comfortable right out of the box. Ample room in the toebox, however they were short in length compared to otherSAS & Naturalizer brand shoes

Orthofeet 861
comfort

I have high arches so was looking for a shoe that had good arch support. These are to be worn while traveling and walking on cobblestones. That is a true test. Have been wearing these shoes every day and they are very comfortable and not at all "ortho" looking.

Orthofeet 874
good shoe

I bought this shoe because I have unexplained heel pain that appeared for no apparent reason forcing me to walk with a cane. With these shoes I limp but don't need a cane. The sole is too stiff so far to walk with no limping. I also bought Orthofeet 950 and they are easier to walk in for me. For someone with less pain that I currently have, these would be good shoes to own. They are solid and keep your foot from rolling to the side.

Finally, I have found a dress shoe.

My feet are very spoiled being in comfortable walking shoes or low-heel dress shoes and sandals most of my adult life. For about the past decade I have had a growing foot pain problem, and recently plantar fasciitis. I also have pronation and hammertoes. I have looked far and wide for a closed-toe shoe that would work as a dress shoe that is also comfortable. This shoe will fill the bill nicely.

Orthofeet 872
Great for problem feet
February 14, 2013
Reviewer: LISW from Harrisburg, PA
I purchased this shoe because I have had heel pain and gout occasionally over the last several years. This shoe comes with a good insole with arch support and has enough give to accomodate swollen feet and toes. I have another Orthofeet shoe that I wear almost daily and love the comfort for my problem feet. I intend to wear this style mostly in the warmer weather, as an alternative to sandals, which I cannot wear comfortably. I would recommend this shoe to anyone with tender, swollen feet who need extra depth and the comfort of a supportive shoe.
