Orthofeet crafts this BioFit® walker with orthotic support, extra width and depth, excellent cushioning to provide unsurpassed comfort and protection. It offers relief for heel-pain, arch-pain and forefoot discomfort, and provides extra protection for diabetic or arthritic feet. Approved by Medicare to meet the requirements of the Diabetic Shoe Bill.
Soft leather upper with stretchable panels shapes to the contours of the foot for a comfortable, non-binding fit. Ortho-Step® multi-layer insole cradles the foot, providing customized support along with excellent shock absorption. It offers relief for heel pain and foot discomfort, making every step you take extremely comfortable. Wide, lightweight cushioning sole with Ergonomic-Stride construction enhances comfort and stability, and assists your body to propel.
Soft fabric lining with extra foam padding enhances comfort and protects the foot against irritations. Anatomical design, with extra added depth and a wide toe box, insures a relaxed fit and freedom for toe movement. Two sets of removable spacers (2mm and 3mm thick) allow the adjustment of the space inside the shoe for a perfect fit.
Material Content: leather upper, polyester upper lining and sock-liner, EVA insole and midsole, rubber outsole.
Fit:
This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

This is my third pair of orthofeet in the last 3 years. I have no use for any other shoe, these are perfect in every way, from work, to exercising, to general footwear needs. I have health issues that require me to have a sturdy base, and these shoes make my life a great blessing.

I needed a more supportive shoe, and even got a compliment from my husband on the look of the shoes. I was surprised by the additional padded inner soles, which I love. The outer edge of one shoe is a little stiff, but it's not a deal breaker.
Wears this shoe: Walking the dog and when I have to be on my feet for a long time.

This shoe is the first shoe I have ever found that can take the kind of beating that I give my feet. I am a heavy person, and work on my feet for a living. I also have arthritis, and a birth defect in one foot. I have always thought that it was just a part of life to limp, stumble, and basically shuffle through life, until this shoe! I will never have another pair of shoes, these are my brand forever. I now am pain free at the end of the day, walk straighter, and have less back problems, all thanks to these shoes. Well worth the 130 bucks!!
