Orthofeet crafts this BioFit® walker with orthotic support, extra width and depth, excellent cushioning to provide unsurpassed comfort and protection. It offers relief for heel-pain arch-pain and forefoot discomfort, and provides extra protection for diabetic or arthritic feet. Approved by Medicare to meet the requirements of the Diabetic Shoe Bill.
Soft leather upper with stretchable panels shapes to the contours of the foot for a comfortable, non-binding fit. Ortho-Step® multi-layer insole cradles the foot, providing customized support along with excellent shock absorption. It offers relief for heel pain and foot discomfort, making every step you take extremely comfortable. Wide, lightweight cushioning sole with Ergonomic-Stride construction enhances comfort and stability, and assists your body to propel.
Soft fabric lining with extra foam padding enhances comfort and protects the foot against irritations. Anatomical design, with extra added depth and a wide toe box, insures a relaxed fit and freedom for toe movement. Two sets of removable spacers (2mm and 3mm thick) allow the adjustment of the space inside the shoe for a perfect fit.
Material Content: leather upper, polyester upper lining and sock-liner, EVA insole and midsole, rubber outsole.
Fit:
This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I love the immediate comfort and support. There was no adjustment period as with most other shoes. The velcro closure make it easier to put the shoes on and off with my orthodics.

I have very sensitive, painful feet. I thought these would be more comfortable than they are have turned out to be. If you wear inserts there is plenty of room.

I purchased this same shoe 6 months ago in black and loved it from the day I put it on. I bought it a half size bigger because I always wear athletic socks with with athletic shoes. They felt comfortable from the second I slipped them on. There was no adjustment period. Instant comfort and great arch support. I like that they are velcro closures because for some reason when I tie laces they always seem to come loose, no problem with that, but of course my daughters say that they are little kids shoes, but I don't see it that way. They are perfect for me. I use them for walking.
