Enjoy exceptional comfort with Orthofeet's Athletic Lace-Up Walking Shoes. Unique customized fit with innovative stretch panels and moldable insoles offer great walking comfort. Orthofeet crafts this BioFit® walker with orthotic support, extra width and depth, excellent cushioning to provide unsurpassed comfort and protection. It offers relief for heel-pain arch-pain and forefoot discomfort, and provides extra protection for diabetic or arthritic feet. Approved by Medicare to meet the requirements of the Diabetic Shoe Bill.
Soft leather upper with stretchable panels shapes to the contours of the foot for a comfortable, non-binding fit. Ortho-Step® multi-layer insole cradles the foot, providing customized support along with excellent shock absorption. It offers relief for heel pain and foot discomfort, making every step you take extremely comfortable. Wide, lightweight cushioning sole with Ergonomic-Stride construction enhances comfort and stability, and assists your body to propel.
Soft fabric lining with extra foam padding enhances comfort and protects the foot against irritations. Anatomical design with added depth and a wide toe box ensures a relaxed fit and freedom for toe movement. Two sets of removable spacers (2mm and 3mm thick) allow the adjustment of the space inside the shoe for a perfect fit.
Material Content: leather upper, polyester upper lining and sock-liner, EVA insole and midsole, rubber outsole.
Fit:
This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I've bought two pair of these shoes and getting ready to buy a third for my trip to Vegas. I have Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Calcification and these are the only shoes that give me relief. The width is excellent and my orthotics fit perfectly.

I originally purchased the white version of the shoes when my family traveled to New York - and wanted a comfortable shoe for all the walking we were going to do! My mother also purchased a pair, and she has very sensitive feet! We both were in heaven the whole trip! I wear my shoes anytime I want to be in tennies, and now want a black pair for an alternative. The shoes last forever, and are well worth your expense!

I was referred to this site by a man who made my leg brace, and I am ever so greatful to him for that. I have always had trouble finding shoes that fit, as I have a small but wide foot. 4 EEE's are hard to find! But here I've been able to buy 2 pair of shoes and they fit. I couldn't believe it when they just slipped right on. And this particular shoe is perfect for the leg brace as it gives me plenty of room to work with and I highly recommend these shoes and this company to anyone who, like me, were never able to buy anything but kiddie shoes or boy sizes. You will get every penny's worth and more here.

I am so very glad I found this shoe store What a G-d send it would have been to have been able to find a pair of shoes that fit. I wear a ee shoe and have very finiky toes and was unable to go to a shoe store as a little girl and find comfortable shoe with out trying on many many many pair. These shoes are comfy and I can wear them all day. You will like them too.

I have been suffering from a heal spur and plantar fascitis for several months. The podiatrist was not giving me any relief from the pain. Every pair of shoes I had began to hurt, despite hard orthotics. I was forced to look to another resource. I ordered the Ortho 941 in a wide width. They have totally taken care of the pain. They are extremely comfortable, and I would recommend them to everyone.
