Very roomy and comfortable even without my own orthotic. Ordered my regular size and the fit is fine. Because of plantar fascitis I can't wear slip-on shoes, so velcro closures are the next best thing! I've walked miles in these boots without pain. The insole did have a strong plastic smell at first.

This shoe is meeting my expectations but I would like an option for more arch support. I stand 6-8 hrs on concrete and have a very high arch. Have a great deal of difficulty finding a shoe that supports my arch without causing additional pain.

I am a diabetic and have searched for years for comfortable shoes. I realized that can't be done without diabetic shoes. So I saw these and decided to buy them. They have caused the swelling to subside in my right ankle and my toes have plenty of room. My orthotics fit wonderfully. And now I think I am actually walking straighter or more upright. I can't enough about these shoes. Love them!
